aggie frost

Aggie Frost (born Aggie Peterson) is a versatile creator from Tromsø, Norway. As an electronic music artist/composer/producer, known for her atmospheric and experimental soundscapes, she blends electronic elements with organic textures, such as her voice or sounds captured from her arctic surroundings - creating a unique sonic universe. Aggie grew up in Tromsø, Northern Norway, surrounded by the majestic landscape and long cold winters.

Aggie has long explored the intersection of sound and emotion, crafting music that is both dreamlike and melancholic. Her compositions often evoke the stark beauty and isolation of the Arctic, which deeply influence her work.

Over the years, Aggie has collaborated with a wide range of artists and projects from the Nordic electronic music scene, including Röyksopp, Mental Overdrive, Illumination, Biosphere, Kohib, Karolinski, Jori Hulkkonen, and Skatebård, as well as songwriting for Sámi legendary artist Mari Boine on her latest album Alva.

Lately, she has created music based on field recordings from Svalbard for her family’s interdisciplinary exhibition Tidslag, which showcases historical and contemporary images of this remote island in the Arctic. Next up is an exciting collaboration with artists Kris Berle and Nsiries via the Amselcom label!

Her innovative approach to music has also led her to perform at prominent festivals, making her a significant figure in the Norwegian electronic music scene. Whether producing in her studio, performing live, or DJing – Aggie Frost continues to push boundaries in sound and storytelling.

Aggie is also a very visual creature, with the love for film and photography - and she has featured in several films and tv-series as an actress.
